The Ten-Minute Blog Post: What I’m Not Reading

This issue of The Writer arrived in my snail mailbox last week and has been sitting on my table, calling to me:

This Monday, however, has plans of its own:

  • a 7:15 a.m. PT appointment for dh
  • morning red bean slow-cooker preparations to simplify dinner time
  • a 10:15 a.m. eye appointment for myself
  • a drive to my son’s university to buy his books for the spring term (yes, he is capable of buying them himself, but the 10% faculty discount we get is worth the extra trip)
  • office hours
  • two classes to teach
  • a trip to Seattle to plan for…

  1. I still haven’t finished my summer copy of Brain, Child Magazine much less the fall issue much less either copy of Poets & Writers. I am reading Saving CeeCee Honeycut & Just Kids & This Is Not The Story You Think It Is & Hula, but you didn’t ask that.

    Have a great day, Lisa!

    • Oh, I so want to read all those books (the only one I have read is This Is Not the Story You Think It Is)! Thank you for giving me a glimpse into your library, Victoria.

My day was. That is enough. 🙂
